Cinnamon is intercropped all most all the Area Estates except Narammala Area Estates which covers 90 ha. Cinnamon is new to KPL and expect to expand the plantations of cinnamon.

Two pilot projects of nutmeg and sour sap are intercropped in 17 ha of Imbulangoda division of Dodangaslanda Area Estates.

Pepper has been planted in six Area Estates of KPL except Hiriyala Area Estates in 55 ha of bearing coconut lands and harvest around 10,000 kg of dry pepper each year Area Estates produce white pepper to the market.
